A.B. Dick Offset Press-made Paper (2017)
I visited the Museum of Printing in northern Massachusetts. Their collection includes many 19th and 20th century presses that are still operational, including the press used to make this series of decorative papers: the A.B. Dick Offset Printing Press. The press, first used around 1890, was an early version of high-speed, mass-production, high-replication printing. I repurposed the press' speed to create unique, decorative paper for use in book arts.
