Along with my other work Color Fields at Ballenglen, these color studies were a part of my exploration of color and texture derived from field days spent in counties Mayo and Sligo in Ireland. Both works form the foundation for my later prints Recto Verso, duotypes produced with James Stroud at Center Street Studio.
